Photographing the World
My friend Elia Locardi has just released his latest tutorial, PHOTOGRAPHING THE WORLD, JAPAN.
I remember our first encounter on a warm summer evening at a Thai restaurant in Kichijoji, Tokyo, alongside Naomi Locardi and Jason Arney. Since then, much water has flowed under the bridges... and a fair amount of sake in our glasses! (^^) 🍶 -> Proofs are on record in this episode of Moments in Time .
Last fall, I had the privilege of joining the Fstoppers crew in Kyoto and Tokyo. And I must admit, witnessing the "Elia aura" in action is quite something. Just look at the number of spectators that gathered at the temple where we were shooting! 😄
But now, under the spotlight comes the most thrilling moment: the new "Photographing The World" is finally available! It features 12 fresh lessons and some of the most beautiful locations in Japan. Trust me, I've traversed the length and breadth of this gorgeous country, so I know what I'm talking about!
Here’s the link to the tutorial and… don’t be surprised if you see me appearing in the background here and there. I promise I wasn’t stalking Elia (^^)
Down here one of the less popular locations in Kyoto, but stunning nonetheless. Bishamondo temple (lesson 2 in the tutorial).
And here a couple of pictures from the evening we spent in Odaiba.
