Ciutadella

Recently, I had the opportunity to explore Ciutadella, in Menorca, with my trusty Leica M10 and my faithful 35mm Summicron. I discovered a fascinating mix of history, culture, and tranquil life, making this small city a captivating place for street photography. I only had an hour at my disposal and was roaming the town with the participants of the PhotoPills camp (you photographers out there should check it out; it’s an amazing experience that happens every year), so every moment was precious.

Ciutadella is a city that seems suspended in time. Its narrow, cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, and ancient architecture tell stories of a rich and varied past, typical of Europe. Walking through the streets of Ciutadella, I was struck by certain corners in particular and the sunlight that filtered powerfully through the narrow streets, interacting with the world below. Here’s the set.

A shout out to the PhotoPillers who listened to me talk about street photography instead of going to buy an ice cream or a glass of wine during our time in Ciutadella (^ ^). Some are here
