A picture from a quiet day of trekking in the famous Kamikochi area. This valley in the west Nagano prefecture is so famous that every time I was close by I decided to skip visiting it. It`s usually very crowded and that takes something out of the experience. Recently though, the ban for foreigner tourists convinced me to try and venture there. The result was a very peaceful day along the Azusa river.
