Off for a ride

Bicycles are popular in Tokyo, and it is not uncommon to see people of all ages cycling through the streets. From young children riding their bikes to school, to older adults using them to run errands. With Tokyo's densely populated urban landscape, moving by car is not really a good option. Bicycles are ubiquitous in Japan, and I especially love seeing them being part of the daily life of older people.

I wonder where my fascination with bicycles comes from… maybe the reason is that in my part of Italy, Sassari, they are a very rare sight. Is it Italian laziness? (^^)
