Autumn is certainly one of the most beautiful seasons to go around Japan. Here in the Tokyo area the fall colors start to appear pretty late compared to the rest of the country. Tokyo people have at least another couple of weeks to wait and enjoy the season properly, but there are some parts of the area that are “early bloomers”.

Last week I spent a couple of hours in Tachikawa and I`ve found some hidden autumn gems.
