64th Koenji awaodori

As I left Japan for work, I received some pleasant news. One of my photos was chosen as the main image for the 64th Koenji Awa Odori Festival's poster. I felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that my work would have a practical purpose in representing the event. This is the second time it has happened, but due to the pandemic, I couldn't enjoy seeing the poster around the city promoting the event the first time (2020).

As the summer festival season approaches, I recall a series of photos I took during the 2019 Awa Odori edition, showcasing some of the colors, sounds, and emotions in the streets of Koenji. It's nice to know that my photo will play a role in setting the stage for the festival and the cultural experiences it brings.

Yatto sa!

Here is the poster, and down here my image.
