the way back

Today I'm sharing some photographs from the second part of my latest solo trip, which I talked about here. The sensations of the places I passed through on the way back to Tokyo from as far as the Noto peninsula are still vivid in my mind. Lots of nature, accompanied by a force that often tries—and sometimes succeeds—in taking back what was once its own.

This last week I've finalized the prints for my upcoming exhibition, INTERMEZZO. It was an intense but rewarding process and it looks like I've made it agan (I’m always surprised that I can reach the finish line).

This photograph taken on the second day of the trip is one of the prints that will be hanging on the walls of the gallery ↓

Tomorrow I'm setting off again, heading west, toward the cradle of classical Japanese civilization. I wonder what encounters await me along the way. The most beautiful thing about traveling is leaving room for surprises.
