CP+ 2023

The CP+ 2023 photography exhibition is going on this week, after 4 years of stopping because of the pandemic. As a photographer, everyone is probably getting excited about the prospect of meeting fellow people who share their passion. One of the great things about events like CP+ is that they bring together people from the field, that is usually very difficult to meet because of our busy schedules.

One of the benefits of going to CP+, apart from getting to view all the latest updates in gear, is that there are some really lovely exhibitions, and also a lot of stages where artists talk about their craft.

Of course, meeting new people can also be a lot of fun! At CP+, you'll be surrounded by people who share your interests and enthusiasm for photography, which can make for some great conversations.

It was great to see mine and Lee Chapman’s book at the booth of Tokyo Inshokan, along with some outstanding work from other photographers (I can even tell my grandchildren that my book has been in the same row as a Daido Moriyama book)!

Here’s Sigma CEO Yamaki san, having a look at his copy of the book.

Here I am with Shimonaka san, from Tokyo Inshokan. Note my great “Light.art” hoodie, the perfect match with Shimonakasan suit :P
