The Izu peninsula is packed with great waterfalls. When I arrived at the “Nanadaru” the light was caressing the waterfall in a really nice way.
The weather really sucks here in Tokyo, so I decided to go with one picture that reminds myself that sometimes water is not depressing as in grey days as today 🙂
In the heart of Izu there`s a oasis of peace and… wasabi.
The root so famous for being one of the main ingedients of sushi, needs pristine water to grow in. This place is one of the most famous place of production, so you may guess that the water must be really clean. Anyway… this is not enough to convince me to take a bath 😀
I had the opportunity to go back to my archive for some pictures they asked me for and I found myself spending there way much more time than planned. It is a really nice thing to do everynow and then. I`m looking forward to go back to my analoug pictures when I`ll be home next time!
I`m not posting much in these day because I`m really busy with tons of stuff. That doesn`t mean that I don`t see the magic of japanese autumn happening around me. This is really the most beautiful season to be in Japan.
I really enjoyed the trip in the high marshland of Oze I did last month. The ride from the city with a 5 hours bus trip and another 5 hours of trekking was really well worth it. The wind was strong and the sky was glowing with the colors of the sunset just after I arrived near the hut I planned to spend the night. What an amazing view!
